Continuing Education

The Orange County affiliate hosts Continuing Education seminars. These programs usually include required topics for New York pharmacists. The society also hosts additional programs including Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.

All continuing education credits will be recorded through CPE Monitor. CPE Monitor is a national, collaborative effort by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists to keep track of their completed continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credits. It also offers state boards of pharmacy the opportunity to electronically authenticate the CPE units completed by their licensees rather than requiring submission of proof of statements of credit upon request or completing random audits.

In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, PSOC does not print extensive handouts. Files or links to files of Speaker handouts are made available to registered participants whenever possible.
